Position Overview
CIPPlanner is a leading provider of enterprise application platforms for software solutions in Capital Planning and Budgeting, Capital Project and Program Management, Vendor Portfolio Management, Grant Portfolio Management, and Contract Portfolio Management. Our products serve mid to large organizations including Fortune 100 companies, utilities, transportation, and local government agencies nationwide.
We are looking for a motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our growing team. Ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience, this role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and an opportunity to grow into a more senior position in business analysis and enterprise software implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the experienced implementation team to support client projects, contribute to solution design, and configure our software to meet real-world business needs.
- Provide comprehensive business analysis and software implementation support to effectively serve clients.
- Assist in analyzing customer business needs and document requirements.
- Participate as an instrumental team member throughout the software implementation lifecycle, facilitating system solution development and integration with third-party systems such as ERP, Document Management, and LDAP.
- Prepare and refine project deliverables including Configuration Analysis Reports, Test Scripts, and Training Manuals, while offering exceptional customer support and conducting software presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Ability to understand documents and translate customer business requirements into technology-based solutions.
- Knowledge of writing effective “User Story”.
- Experience in writing UAT documentation.
- Exceptional logical reasoning, presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, maintain strict attention to detail, and function as a collaborative team player.
- Flexibility to work schedules that accommodate global teams, including willingness to attend meetings in different time zones.
- Ability to manage customer expectations and understand software implementation methodologies.
- A fast learner with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with UI prototyping tools (e.g., Visio, Figma, Lucidchart).
- Coursework or internship experience in business analysis, project management, or enterprise systems.
- Experience writing user stories or UAT documentation.
- Chinese bilingual skills are a plus.
