Job Description

Position Overview

This role is responsible for collaborating with leaders to understand their business objectives and challenges while providing expert guidance on the integration of artificial intelligence. The incumbent assesses systems, data, infrastructure, and business processes to identify opportunities for AI products and services. As an AI Consultant, you will work with vendor partners, internal data scientists, data, and infrastructure teams to facilitate requirements gathering for proof of concept design, advise on implementation plans, and serve as an expert in change management to drive user readiness, adoption, and optimal value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Problem Identification: Collaborate with business leaders and partners to identify automation opportunities, deliver education to support effective ideation, work with data science teams to triage and prioritize ideas, and serve as a solution designer by recommending roadmaps or identifying patterns for higher ROI.
  • Proof of Concept Design: Facilitate the design of a proof of concept by ensuring alignment around the problem statement and defining measures of viability, while engaging with partners and stakeholders to drive timely decision-making and business case development.
  • Implementation: Translate proof of concept into scaled use and value creation by working with project leads and business owners to plan for technical and people-related change impacts, and act as an advisor on change execution and related interventions.
  • Value Creation: Collaborate with business leaders, portfolio teams, human resources, and finance to ensure that the anticipated value is effectively captured in the relevant systems.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in management consulting or strategy.
  • 5 years of experience in orchestrating and leading change management plans and interventions.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, including generative AI, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Ability to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for AI implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop AI solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, and data scientists.
  • Effective communication skills to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills for conveying insights and recommendations.
  • Experience in writing technical documentation and reports.
  • Ability to manage AI projects from inception to deployment, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and related technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, data science, or a related field (or equivalent experience and/or education as determined by the company).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in digital transformation at scale.
  • Master’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Certified change management practitioner.
