Position Overview
CRB, with nearly 1,400 expert professionals, drives innovative, life-changing and life-saving solutions for the life sciences and food and beverage industries. We are seeking an Architectural Designer Intern to join our dynamic team. In this internship, you will work on real-world projects—from 3D modeling and design to producing detailed architectural documents—while learning from industry leaders and contributing to pioneering solutions in areas including food scarcity and global health.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project documents (e.g., calculations, reports, construction drawings, and specifications) in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
- Assist in the development of conceptual designs and coordinate with the design team under the direction of the project lead.
- Collaborate with architectural staff, vendors, clients, and contractors to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
- Interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Willingness to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble).
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards within the AEC industry.
- Prior internship or co-op experience in Architecture or a related field.
