Position Overview

Join Christianbook as a Senior Manager, Digital Creative Design and bring our brand to life across all digital touchpoints. In this role you’ll lead a talented team of Digital Creative Designers, collaborating with Copy, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Merchandising to drive exceptional customer engagement, a cohesive visual identity, and strong business results. This is your opportunity to shape the creative identity of a beloved national brand through polished emails, scroll-stopping paid ads, engaging social content, and dynamic website landing pages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute digital design across email, digital marketing, website landing pages, and social media.
  • Translate brand, customer, and product strategies into compelling visuals that drive engagement, conversions, and loyalty.
  • Maintain and evolve a consistent visual identity across all digital touchpoints.
  • Conceptualize and design campaigns spanning multiple channels, customer segments, and time periods.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, ecommerce, and merchandising teams to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in digital design, ideally within ecommerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer brands with 2+ years of team leadership experience.
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating value-led aesthetics, clear storytelling, and high-performing creative across email, social, and web.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and other modern design tools.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and responsive design principles.
  • Experience designing for performance marketing including email, social ads, and landing pages.
  • Sharp attention to detail in typography, layout, and aesthetic execution.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Passion for visual storytelling, digital marketing, and brand building.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Digital Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) or omnichannel retail environment.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS or digital production workflows.
  • Affinity with, and understanding of, Christian consumers, institutions, and homeschoolers.
