QA Tester ( Manual)

Position Overview

The PaceMate® QA Tester (Manual) position is responsible for testing and analysis of web and database-based applications, writing detailed test cases, executing them and tracking issues through to resolution. This role supports PaceMateLIVE™, the industry’s only comprehensive cardiac remote monitoring platform, and plays a vital part in ensuring a high-quality release while using technology to benefit patients, caregivers, and hospital administrators.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify issues with a keen eye for detail and focus on optimizing end-user experiences.
• Collaborate with business partners and software development engineers to test and resolve software issues.
• Develop thorough test plans, assess risks, file detailed defect reports, and provide relevant data for test reporting.
• Troubleshoot, triage, and deliver detailed debug information to expedite issue resolution.
• Test complex technology stacks and multiple software components while managing tight timelines.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience working with cardiac devices.
• Passionate about troubleshooting failures to determine root cause.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability and passion for learning new frameworks and technologies quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in health tech companies.
• 1+ years’ experience working with the PaceMate platform (internal or external users).
• Previous experience in the field of QA.
• IBHRE Certification – CCDS or CDRMS.
• Experience working with health records and medical device data, including HL7 data.
• Experience with relational databases/SQL (MySQL preferred).
