Our Client

A rapidly expanding marketing and advertising firm, is seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Data Analyst to join their growing analytics team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about data, marketing, and uncovering insights that drive campaign success. You will work closely with senior analysts and marketing managers to collect, clean, analyze, and interpret marketing data, contributing to data-driven decision-making. This role is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection, cleaning, and organization of marketing data from various sources (e.g., web analytics, social media platforms, ad campaigns).
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to marketing performance, customer behavior, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards summarizing key marketing metrics and performance indicators.
  • Support senior analysts in developing data models and performing statistical analysis.
  • Help to measure the ROI of marketing initiatives and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analytical processes.
  • Assist in the visualization of data to present findings clearly and effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in data analytics and digital marketing.
  • Contribute to a data-informed culture within the marketing department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree: in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a marketing or advertising context. Internships and relevant academic projects are highly valued.
  • Proficiency: in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R is required.
  • Familiarity: with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding: of basic statistical concepts.
  • Excellent: analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented: with a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Good communication: and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability: to work effectively in a remote team environment and manage tasks independently.
  • Eagerness: to learn and grow within the field of data analytics and marketing.
