Field Service Technician (L1 / L2) – Mobile Surveillance & Security Technology

Position Overview

Join Calidad Services Inc. as a Field Service Technician (L1 / L2) in Stockton, CA. This role is for hands-on technicians who build, deploy, and maintain mobile surveillance units across client sites and our yard/shop. Ideal candidates live in or near Stockton and are ready for on-call, as-needed assignments with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Build complete mobile surveillance units (assembling cameras, mounts, cabling, power systems, hardware, and finishing touches)
• Service and troubleshoot mobile surveillance trailers and systems
• Diagnose and restore offline or degraded systems, including performing camera swaps and adjustments
• Safely tow, deploy, reposition, and retrieve trailers
• Support small installs and service calls at client sites with clear communication and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to tow a trailer or willingness to be trained
• Basic understanding of security cameras / CCTV
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Comfortable working outdoors, in a shop/yard, and on active job sites
• Must meet background and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or servicing mobile surveillance units
• Familiarity with CCTV systems (e.g., Hanwha, Avigilon) and low-voltage or security systems
• L2-level troubleshooting skills and/or a background in construction, electrical, field service, or security
