Contract Logistics Healthcare Operations Manager

Position Overview

As a Healthcare Operations Manager at Kuehne+Nagel in Memphis, TN, you will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end warehousing operations while ensuring GXP regulatory compliance in a Pharma/Cold Chain environment. Your leadership will drive day-to-day warehouse activities, training, and continuous improvement, ultimately enhancing both our logistics and healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day tactical direction and guidance to supervisors and warehouse associates.
• Create and validate training for associates in line with SOPs; perform observations as needed.
• Complete advanced tasks requiring independent analysis, problem resolution, and sound decision making.
• Manage daily labor, work schedules, and attendance using UKG.
• Oversee a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Dashboard, sharing monthly reports with key stakeholders.
• Analyze process and cost improvement opportunities and implement agreed next steps.
• Establish clear communication channels between the customer and Kuehne+Nagel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, and FDA regulations.
• Support the development and execution of the organization’s Pharmaceutical/Healthcare strategy.
• Prepare and lead Business Review Meetings (BRM) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with operational KPIs.
• Align future customer needs, including potential travel to customer sites, and maintain cooperation with key customer contacts.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Contract Logistics Healthcare, including regulations, quality standards, and liability.
• 5+ years' experience with the Blue Yonder WMS system.
• 3+ years' experience in Contract Logistics, 3PL, Distribution Centre, or Pharma Cold Chain Warehouse environments.
• 3+ years' management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of technical processes related to standard warehouse equipment, WMS systems, and material handling equipment.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on 5S principles.
