Field Service Engineer

Position Overview

Sterling Fab Tech, a CNC Machine Tool Sales Company specializing in metal fabrication and processing equipment, is seeking a Field Service Engineer. In this role, you will support our customers with the installation, commissioning, technical support, and repair of advanced CNC equipment including 2D/3D lasers, press brakes, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and on-site assistance for machine deliveries and installations.
• Install machines and accessories, including assembly, alignment, wiring, calibrating, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, software, and related issues.
• Collaborate with customers and the sales team to ensure proper facility preparation and equipment placement.
• Deliver training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, controls, and network systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be located in California or Nevada with the ability to travel up to 90%.
