Key Responsibilities

• Interpret Financial Data: Analyze and interpret complex financial transactions and events to support strategic decision-making.
• Mentorship: Provide functional advice and training to less experienced financial analysts and administrative staff.
• Data Analysis: Extract and define relevant financial information to assess past performance and forecast future outcomes.
• Advanced Reporting: Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
• Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis using data from various financial systems.
• Transaction Management: Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Cost Studies: Plan and conduct in-depth studies to determine the cost of business activities and recommend budget adjustments and cost-saving measures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related business field required.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience required.
• OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of related work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office spreadsheet applications; PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency preferred.
