Position Overview

SharpRank is a leading independent, cross‐sport performance rating agency that leverages a proprietary ranking algorithm to provide verified, easily digestible sports performance data. We are excited to announce the Fall 2022 Data Analytics Internship program – a 12-14 week development opportunity for college Juniors and Seniors to work hands-on for a dynamic sports tech startup. Interns will work on clear, defined projects that combine analytical, technical, and communication skills, while directly contributing to the company's business growth. Key Responsibilities

• Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations and drive change management through training and adoption.
• Understand user data needs and translate them into powerful dashboards and visualizations.
• Develop project-based data science and statistical modeling with proprietary data sets.
• Exhibit a “Product Maker” mindset by applying strong conceptual thinking to understand business and technical concepts.
• Work under the direct supervision of a Manager to define project goals, milestones, and deliverables during the internship period.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field. Previous experience is a plus.
• Must be a recent graduate or enrolled full-time as a Junior or Senior for the Summer 2022 semester at an accredited university.
• Minimum GPA of 2.75.
• Eager to learn and collaborate with various departments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with R, Python, and Tableau is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and multitasking abilities.
