Behavioral Health Technician FT (Men's Residential)

Position Overview

At Cove Behavioral Health, you will monitor client behavior in our facility, chart behavioral observations, and facilitate educational reading groups. You will also assist with recreational activities, enforce house rules and curfew, and provide administrative support as needed. Cove Behavioral Health is a nonprofit organization with over 48 years of providing behavioral health treatment services. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and chart client behavior.
• Assist with recreational activities.
• Transport clients as required (as approved by insurance provider).
• Submit incident reports as required.
• Participate in client staffing and team meetings.
• Perform house check as required.
• Enforce house rules and curfew.
• Monitor urine drug screens.
• Provide administrative support as required.

Required Qualifications

• Experience Required: One-year related experience working in the field of substance abuse or mental health counseling.
• Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in engaging with youth and their families to effectively facilitate change.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports, speak effectively, and solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to follow established codes of conduct and work respectfully within a team environment.
