Job Description
Position Overview
BC Forward is seeking a Collector I (Hybrid Work) for their Phoenix, AZ location. In this role, you will manage the collection of delinquent auto loan payments, working directly with customers to resolve outstanding balances in a professional and compliant manner. The position is a Direct Hire (Full Time) opportunity with a Contract extension, and operates under a hybrid work model (minimum 2–3 days in-office).Compensationis offered at $19.00/hr on W2, which is flexible based on experience. Previous debit/credit collections experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers with delinquent accounts to solicit payment and resolve outstanding balances.
- Document all collection activities in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and submit statements or recommendations to the credit department for unresolved accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection efforts.
- Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and relevant laws.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Solid mathematical skills for performing basic arithmetic operations.
- Knowledge of debt collection laws and compliance requirements.
