Position Overview
We are an equal employment opportunity employer. TheClinical Specialistposition in Illinois is fully remote with extensive travel throughout the U.S. and reports directly to the Director of Clinical Education. In this role, you will engage in teaching and training clinicians on the use of aesthetic and surgical lasers.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and train clients (plastic surgeons, dermatologists, medical doctors, and clinicians) on the use of aesthetic and surgical lasers.
- Conduct initial post-sales training and provide additional sessions as necessary.
- Resolve post-sale customer issues and address clinical questions.
- Create, revise, and maintain clinical training manuals.
- Design and implement customer and distributor training programs; assist in evaluating the need for continuing education initiatives.
- Provide physician training that includes both didactic sessions and hands-on labs with live patients.
- Serve as a clinical education resource to customers.
- Interface with Sales, Field Service, and other corporate staff as needed.
- Attend accredited educational programs and remain current in relevant clinical areas.
- Assist in the evaluation and development of clinical training programs.
- Conduct site visits and gather clinical data as requested.
- Collaborate with local and international distributors to fulfill training and/or clinical evaluation needs.
- Represent Sciton at regional trade shows, seminars, and other events when required.
- Perform additional duties as directed by your supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a registered nurse.
- 3-5 years of Clinical Specialist experience.
- Proven experience in the aesthetic industry.
- Strong leadership qualities and high professional standards.
- Ability to teach and train clinical peers effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be assertive, self-motivated, and exercise good judgment.
- Good physical coordination with the ability to operate lasers and lift equipment.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Basic MS Word and Excel skills.
- Candidates may be subject to a motor vehicle records check; a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record may be required.
