Location: St. Joseph's Hospital – 3001 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607.
Schedule: Full time – 3 twelve‐hour shifts per week and every other weekend; Part time – 2 twelve‐hour shifts per week and every other weekend; Shifts – Day: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, Night: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
For this position, we are seeking candidates dedicated to compassionate patient care in a hospital setting, ready to work as part of a dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
- Responsibilities: Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED minimum.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
- Experience Required: A minimum of one year of licensed CNA work experience in a skilled nursing facility; or a minimum of 6 months of PCT/CNA work experience in a hospital; or, in lieu of experience, completion of an approved CNA program (with clinicals); or current nursing student with completion of Nursing Fundamentals.
- Extended new hire training and department orientation available for new Florida licensed CNAs with no experience.
- Ability to work full time hours is a plus!
