Position Overview
Based in US-PA-Pittsburgh, the Therapy Awareness Sales Manager at Boston Scientific is responsible for ensuring the region meets or exceeds sales and referral growth targets. In this role, you will coach and develop the TAR team, collaborate with field partners and marketing, and drive key initiatives to expand therapy awareness and market penetration. Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous tools and education to ensure the team stays updated on industry, clinical guidelines, and product knowledge.
- Collect data from the region on best practices and sales tactics, ensuring the team performs as expected.
- Drive therapy awareness by coaching TARs to identify patient pathways, develop pull-through strategies, and create referral programs.
- Monitor regional sales performance, initiate corrective actions, and integrate individual territory plans into a broader regional strategy.
- Implement strong selling techniques, share best practices, and support corporate and divisional initiatives through coaching and leadership.
- Maintain clinical excellence by mastering product and disease state knowledge to effectively differentiate Boston Scientific’s offerings.
- Build and sustain relationships with key accounts, referring physicians, and internal partners to support therapy awareness and brand loyalty.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred) plus 7-9 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven track record in cardiology sales with impactful leadership and training initiatives.
- Highly motivated, high-impact individual with strong technical, analytical, and leadership competencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or graduate degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales management with a proven record of team development and sales achievement.
