Job Description

Position Overview

This role supports live event operations by assisting in the setup and dismantling of stage equipment and operating audio, lighting, and video equipment. The candidate will work closely with a team, follow strict safety protocols, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and dismantling stage equipment for live events.
  • Operate audio, lighting, and video equipment as needed.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more.
  • Understanding of general industry terms and fundamental principles.
  • Willingness to work in varying stagehand roles.
  • Ability to work indoors or outdoors under varying weather conditions.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in conversions or a related field.
  • Certification as a Lift Operator (Fork, Scissor, Boom, etc.).
  • Experience with live audio equipment (Yamaha, PreSonus, Mackie, etc.).
  • Experience with lighting equipment (GrandMA, ETC, Hog, etc.).
  • Experience with video equipment (Barco/Folsom, Grass Valley, Playback Pro, etc.).
  • Experience as a Camera Operator (Long Lens, Handheld, robocams, etc.).
