We are seeking a results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. You will be responsible for organizing, implementing, and managing our digital marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive engagement. In this role, you will be a key player in our Global Client Group (GCG), overseeing digital strategies to support our institutional client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement a digital strategy and roadmap for institutional audiences including:
- UX and journey mapping across all digital touchpoints
- Development, implementation and maintenance of the digital customer acquisition funnel and lead generation strategy
- Creating a proactive, data-driven process to keep our websites current and engaging
- Conducting competitive analysis and staying updated on the latest digital tools and innovations
- Setting benchmarks and success metrics with data mining to refine audience targeting
- Oversee and execute digital marketing initiatives across channels including websites, portals, email, social media, and digital paid media (SEM, paid social, syndication, etc).
- Email: Oversee the client communications email calendar for GCG; standardize the campaign process; build and execute various email campaigns (promotional blasts, welcome, drip, newsletters, fund updates, invitations, and retention campaigns); and conduct A/B tests to optimize performance.
- List and Lead Generation: Collaborate with Business Management & Technology teams to optimize target audience list generation via Salesforce; maintain and grow email subscriber lists; and identify data gaps to enhance targeting and marketing persona development.
- Website: Optimize website content and landing pages for institutional audiences in collaboration with designers, content writers, and marketing teams. Work jointly with digital and marketing teams to improve search visibility and overall performance.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal/regulatory guidelines, data privacy laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.), and firm standards.
- Reporting & Analytics: Monitor campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions, bounce rates, unsubscribes) and provide insights on ROI. Collaborate with Business Management & IR teams to automate client engagement data for sales teams.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Oversee digital marketing resources, define and codify processes, manage digital channel budgets for maximum ROI, and maintain proactive communication with business, creative, brand, and sales partners. Act as the team’s digital specialist, advising on initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in digital and email marketing roles
- Proven experience working across digital mediums and multi-channel content distribution
- Proficiency with digital, email, and CMS platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Cvent, Seismic (or similar)
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices, including email deliverability, spam compliance, A/B testing, and performance analysis
- A collaborative, problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Compensation
Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000
Our compensation structure comprises a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation varies based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education, and designations.
