Position Overview
Globally recognized for exceptional product performance and versatility, Fotona develops award‐winning aesthetic, medical, and dental lasers with over 50 years of expertise and industry leadership. Fotona is currently seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional based in the San Francisco Bay Area to prospect and develop new Medical/Aesthetic customers in our Northern California Territory – an excellent opportunity for a successful sales professional with strong prospecting skills to break into the lucrative aesthetic laser market.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication, and organizational skills, establishing a strong sense of trust among Fotona’s growing customer base.
- Manage high-volume cold calls to medical practices and med spas.
- Identify decision-makers and evaluate buying processes.
- Determine prospects' business needs and goals to tailor effective solutions.
- Actively seek out new customers through prospecting, trade shows, and both virtual and live meetings.
- Continuously study Fotona products, medical aesthetics, and industry trends to remain informed.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Travel within the territory and attend trade shows, trainings, and other events as required.
- Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Represent Fotona with high-level integrity and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of outbound business-to-business sales experience preferred.
- Capital Equipment, Durable Medical Equipment, and/or Medical Device sales experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to develop qualified appointments.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
- Excellent phone, written, and in-person sales and communication skills.
- A strong passion for prospecting.
- Basic MS Office Suite and computer/internet skills for communications and research.
- Experience using CRM tools; Salesforce is preferred.
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to drive within the territory daily.
- Willingness to travel overnight (approximately 30% on average) within and outside of the territory for trade shows, trainings, and other events.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and push/pull heavy equipment when required.
- Physical capability to stand, lift, bend, squat, stretch, and work at a computer or drive for extended periods.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
