Role Description

This part-time hybrid role is based in Kansas City, MO, with opportunities for remote work. However being located in Kansas City is vital to the role. The Advertising Media Buyer will be responsible for planning and purchasing advertising across various platforms, managing budgets, negotiating with vendors, and analyzing campaign performance. Additional responsibilities include conducting media research, staying informed of trends, and collaborating closely with creative and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in The Kansas City Market, media strategy and buying to help clients achieve their advertising objectives effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Based in Kansas City with a knowledge of KC/Midwest media and trends
  • Experience in Media Buying, Media Planning, and Vendor Negotiation
  • Strong proficiency in Budget Management, Media Research, and Campaign Analysis
  • Knowledge of Digital Advertising, Social Media Platforms, and Trends
  • Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently in a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency with advertising analytics tools and media planning software is a plus
  • Previous experience in an advertising or marketing agency is highly beneficial
