Position Overview

Whirlpool is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement in its manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies that reduce costs and improve product quality while upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Analyze and diagnose production bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement new processes and strategies to reduce costs and improve product quality.
  • Utilize Six Sigma methodology to ensure top standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics.
  • Maintain a safe working environment while collaborating with other departments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to various departments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Industrial).
  • At least three years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology.
  • Solid understanding of process and product improvement techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
