Location: Phoenix, AZ (In-person, hybrid 3+ days/week) | Reports to: Director of Programming & CEO | Type: Full-time

As the Marketing & Administrative Coordinator, you will support the execution of PHX FWD’s marketing, events, and community operations. From content distribution and event coordination to website updates and podcast publishing, this role blends creativity with precision—ideal for someone who thrives on details and loves to make things happen.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing & Content:
- Execute content distribution across channels including LinkedIn, email newsletters, Slack, and more
- Support event promotion by building workshop and community event pages (Luma, Squarespace)
- Publish and distribute PHX Founders Podcast episodes by writing show notes, uploading episodes, and sharing across platforms
- Repurpose long-form video content into clips for social media
- Assist with simple design tasks and visual assets using Canva or Figma
- Manage website updates and maintain brand consistency
- Capture content at events to share on LinkedIn
- Events & Community Coordination:
- Coordinate logistics and provide in-person, day-of support for bi-weekly workshops, mastermind meetings, monthly Pitch Practice sessions, monthly Founder Fridays, quarterly community events, annual Founders Retreat, and other events as needed
- Send and manage calendar invites, RSVP lists, and event communications
- Ensure smooth on-site execution and an excellent attendee experience
- Act as a connector by getting to know community members by name and company
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative and scheduling support to the CEO and Director of Programming
- Oversee invoicing, billing, and collections with members and partners
- Anticipate team needs and maintain organized systems for events, communications, and content workflows
- Support coordination across partners, coaches, and community members
Required Qualifications
- Experience & Skills: 2–3 years of marketing experience (content, social media, email, or community marketing); 1+ year of administrative support experience; 1+ year of event coordination or on-site event experience; experience using AI tools for social media; strong writing and copy editing skills; comfortable with video clipping and creating simple visual assets; familiar with making basic website updates (Squarespace preferred); confident public speaker; highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive; and a passion for working in dynamic, in-person environments.
