Position Overview
ATC Income Tax is now hiring Part/Full-time Customer Service Phone Representatives for a seasonal position (no experience needed) to work from our busy call center in Marietta and Decatur. If hired, your start date will be immediate with training on Monday, December 9, 2024 – conducted via Zoom and in-person (socially distanced). This is a seasonal position with employment from January through April.
Key Responsibilities
- Build client rapport
- Market tax preparation services to in-bound callers using a phone script
- Make outbound marketing calls to previous tax clients using a phone script
- Record accurate notes in an online customer relationship management database
- Prepare tax return estimates for in-bound callers (training provided)
- Resolve basic customer concerns via telephone in a timely and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service over the telephone
- Support Tax Preparer staff
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Maintain overall office efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow a phone script
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Previous customer service experience is a must
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Self motivated, reliable, and punctual
- Good computer skills
- Outstanding phone etiquette
- Proper grammar usage in oral and written correspondence
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends

- Compensation: Hourly, plus weekly bonuses
- Approximately 30 - 40 hours per week
- Shift starts at 9am; store hours are 9am - 8pm Monday thru Saturday (possible Sundays)
