Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Vice President of Process Engineering to join a leading high-tech manufacturing organization in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will spearhead advanced process optimization initiatives, drive operational excellence, and lead a high-performing engineering team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Location: Tampa, FL. Compensation: $175,000 - $300,000 base salary complemented by performance-based bonuses, equity, LTIPs, and executive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cutting-edge process engineering strategies to drive operational excellence.
- Oversee process optimization by analyzing, redesigning, and standardizing manufacturing processes for improved quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Integrate advanced technologies—including automation, robotics, and data analytics—into existing production systems.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration among R&D, production, quality control, and supply chain teams.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing process engineering team while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage capital projects and budgeting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within cost parameters.
- Implement and monitor Lean, Six Sigma, or other industry-recognized methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Drive sustainability and environmental initiatives while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Mitigate risks related to process inefficiencies and regulatory compliance through proactive risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in process engineering within the high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and innovative solutions.
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with a history of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Data-driven decision making coupled with excellent analytical skills.
- Commitment to compliance, safety standards, and sustainability initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s in Engineering, or relevant certifications.
- Experience managing capital projects and implementing cost-control measures.
- Demonstrated ability to scale production processes and optimize supply chain operations.
