Position Overview

In this role as a Data Manager, you will ensure accurate, complete, and timely delivery of data by collaborating with business stakeholders and technology teams. You will support the Model Data Development and Climate Change workstream within the Data and Information Strategy (DIS) team, part of the Enterprise Credit Analytics and Transformation Strategy organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works with Line of Business partners, including Compliance, Audit, and Risk, to understand needs and produce data solutions in partnership with Technology.
  • Identifies gaps in data management standards adherence and collaborates with partners to develop resolution plans that meet risk and compliance policies.
  • Analyzes emerging data needs related to risk, regulatory or business priorities, and plans for interim and target state solutions within established policies.
  • Monitors key performance indicators and internal controls in accordance with established thresholds, standards, and policies.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Data Management experience (data quality, metadata management, governance, etc.).
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to execute plans independently.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to analyze problems and identify tactical and strategic solutions.
  • Highly organized and capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple efforts in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment.
  • Experience with credit-related processes and systems for analytics, modeling, and reporting.
  • Ability to identify and remediate risks in a timely manner.
  • Experience navigating enterprise/source information across multiple functions.
  • Management experience with small to mid-size teams.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of data relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of bank financial practices and policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in business, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth experience with Wholesale Credit products and functions, including familiarity with related policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Wholesale Credit systems.
  • Process design experience.

  • Compensation: $86,000.00 - $180,000.00 annualized salary, based on experience, education, and skill set.
