Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Brand Specialist to join the global brand marketing team at a large media company. This role reports to the Brand Manager on the Global Games Marketing team and is REMOTE with travel to San Mateo, CA once per quarter. Compensation: $35–$42 per hour (W2). The position supports tactical execution of marketing and commercial activities for upcoming games across multiple devices and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage asset coordination by briefing global tactical plans and guiding asset development and localization, working with internal and external creative/media agencies.
  • Oversee global compliance reviews by managing asset submissions to international/local review teams, including ESRB and Legal, and collating feedback.
  • Coordinate storefront updates and optimizations in collaboration with Global Brand Managers and platform teams for game updates and promotions.
  • Collaborate with internal horizontal teams to develop and refine marketing tactics supporting go-to-market campaigns and live service season initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders to gather, reconcile, and summarize feedback.
  • Understanding of basic business operations and marketing principles with strong critical thinking and prioritization skills.
  • Experience contributing to and/or leading go-to-market campaigns.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with privileged information.
  • Excellent collaboration skills in high-pressure environments and strong written/verbal communication, including presenting to partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently and drive them to completion.
  • Passion for marketing, gaming, and video game culture.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant business or administrative experience; marketing experience is a plus.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with creative and media agencies.
  • Deep knowledge of games on multiple platforms including live service and mobile titles.
