Job Description

Position Overview

Our client is a fast-growing company looking for a driven, tech-savvy Executive Assistant who is passionate about growth both personally and professionally. This role offers the opportunity to learn about business operations while contributing to the company’s efficiency. It’s a unique chance to work closely with the MD, gain insight into business strategy, and develop skills in accounting and technology—all while being fairly compensated for your contributions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to email inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication with leads and clients.
  • Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, including creating and sending invoices and other accounting-related duties.
  • Utilize accounting software to track expenses, prepare reports, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support the MD in various administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Organize and manage the MD’s calendar, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve processes.
  • Assist with both internal and external communications to ensure key messages are effectively delivered.
  • Track key deliverables and deadlines for the MD, assisting in proper prioritization and follow-ups.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Experience managing email correspondence and responding to client inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative for learning new technologies and improving processes.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset; prior experience running a venture or a strong interest in entrepreneurship is a plus.
  • Willingness to work longer hours when needed, with appropriate compensation.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and creative thinking to proactively identify challenges and propose solutions.
