Position Overview

In our high-growth, modernization phase—with new leadership, a reenergized brand, and a new Downtown Kansas City office—we are shaping the future of a locally owned, family-led multi-brand portfolio. As the Digital Marketing Operations Manager, you will drive scalable, data-driven digital growth across demand generation, eCommerce, and customer lifecycle marketing. You will own the operational execution, measurement, and optimization of digital marketing programs, working closely with Marketing, Sales, eCommerce, and Analytics teams to ensure alignment with brand, revenue, and customer experience objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive profitable sales growth across eCommerce channels (Shopify, Amazon, TikTok, etc.) by providing strategic and tactical leadership to external agency partners.
- Lead paid media initiatives across SEO, SEM, GEO, paid social, marketplaces, and digital display with structured testing to assess performance and incrementality.
- Own measurement and attribution frameworks to evaluate CAC efficiency, channel performance, and overall impact.
- Manage analytics, dashboards, and reporting including metrics such as CAC, CLV, funnel performance, and CRM insights.
- Oversee website development and optimization, including UX, CMS updates (Shopify preferred), CRO initiatives, and periodic website refreshes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize customer acquisition funnels and omnichannel journeys for conversion and engagement.
- Direct Email and SMS strategy and execution including opt-in growth, segmentation, lifecycle campaigns, and A/B testing.
- Plan, execute, test, and optimize customer acquisition across digital, social, mobile, experiential, and partner channels.
- Identify and evaluate emerging platforms, partners, and growth opportunities.
- Evolve audience growth strategy through detailed analysis of customer segments and media behaviors.
- Partner with the VP Marketing to develop customer personas, demographics, and target segments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including vendor oversight and fiscal responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 7 to 12 years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, growth marketing, or eCommerce roles.
- Demonstrated success driving measurable eCommerce or digital revenue growth.
- Experience owning or heavily influencing website UX, conversion optimization, and CMS platforms (Shopify preferred).
- Proven track record managing agencies and external partners with clear accountability for results.
- Expertise in analytics-driven decision-making and experimentation, with strong analytical skills.
- Deep knowledge of paid media, lifecycle marketing, attribution models, and digital analytics.
- Proficiency with analytics tools, dashboards, and CRM systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to design and evaluate structured tests and experiments while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
