Job Description
Position Overview
At Spectrum Autism Services, we are dedicated to helping children with Autism reach their fullest developmental potential. As the HR Associate/Recruiter, you will play a key role in hiring and onboarding employees across all Spectrum sites. This full‑time remote position requires a dedicated professional workspace and reliable availability Monday–Friday from 9:00am–1:00pm and 2:00pm–6:00pm EST. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Administrator, you will market employment opportunities, manage job postings, review candidates, conduct phone/virtual interviews, and support special projects as part of our Administrative Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify employment opportunities to expand the candidate pipeline.
- Ensure quality content and portray Spectrum as an industry leader on various hiring platforms (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake).
- Advertise, solicit, vet, and screen prospective employees nationwide.
- Schedule and conduct phone and/or virtual interviews, and notify candidates of their employment status.
- Maintain regular communication with new hires during their first 90 days.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings, taking detailed notes.
- Respond to written communications with accurate information within 48 business hours.
- Audit HR performance management systems and assist with digital file and schedule management.
- Support special projects as assigned by the HR Administrator.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Commitment to upholding Spectrum's mission and values.
- Passion for improving the lives of children and their families.
- Ability to serve as a role model in line with the “Spirit of Spectrum”.
- 1+ years of healthcare recruiting experience for a medium‑sized organization.
- Excellent communication skills across oral, written, and in‑person interactions.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
