2026 LAUNCH Program: Associate Staff Accountant

Position Overview

Red Ventures is excited to welcome an Associate Accountant to our team. In this role, you’ll kick-start your career by rotating through various finance and accounting functions—including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Corporate Accounting, and Business Unit Accounting—while working in a hybrid environment (in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and entering monthly journal entries
• Support the month-end closing process and the preparation of financial statements
• Assess current accounting operations and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain and update financial records, including the general ledger, fixed asset management, and accounts payable/receivable in accordance with GAAP
• Perform monthly detailed balance sheet reconciliations
• Process and record cash receipts and approved disbursements
• Ensure adequate financial and internal controls
• Prepare documentation for external auditors
• Assist in financial analyses and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• Graduating Spring 2026 with an August 2026 cohort start date
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance
• Understanding of debits/credits and accounting fundamentals
• Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
• A strong academic or internship track record with a proactive approach to important projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivation, strong attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to continuous improvement

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Salary: $50,000 - $58,000
