Quality Control Inspector (Entry Level)

Position Overview

Salary: $15 - $17 DOE
Schedule: First Shift: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This position requires the daily use and care of precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, tap measures, height gages, and NPT threaded gages. You will perform inspections on both inbound and outbound materials, carry out thorough examinations of materials and finished products, and work to implement and improve quality control procedures. The role demands routine visual inspections, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and data entry skills. Please note that the work environment may expose you to extreme heat and cold temperatures and that safety boots are required. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily use and care of measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, tap measures, height gages, and NPT threaded gages
• Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
• Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
• Participate in routine visual inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Enter data into reports accurately

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a similar role
• Experience with fittings, flanges, and pipe is preferred
• Forklift experience
• Must be able to do simple math
• Ability to interpret technical product specifications
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint is a plus)
