Position Overview
Husch Blackwell LLP is a full-service litigation and business law firm with a commitment to diverse, equitable and inclusive teams. We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team—either remotely or at one of our multiple locations—to design, document, implement, and administer the firm’s evolving enterprise network and systems. Reporting to the Manager – Cloud Engineering, you will use your expertise to support a broad range of IT solutions while contributing to our culture of teamwork, collaboration, client service, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Microsoft Server Operating Systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016 and newer) for enterprise environments including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi APs.
- Support desktop and server application distribution via Microsoft Update Management Center, Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager, AVD, Scripting, and Group Policy.
- Deploy, manage, and maintain IT solutions including Windows servers and Cloud systems.
- Design, support, and implement Microsoft ADS and Azure Active Directory solutions.
- Define, implement, and enforce security frameworks, maintain anti-virus/malware solutions, and ensure standards are met.
- Leverage ITIL best practices to plan, document, and transition services into production, while continuously reviewing and improving processes.
- Support additional infrastructure solutions such as SQL Server, Intune, Azure, AWS, Office365, and various security platforms.
- Assist in inventory control, asset management, disaster recovery planning, and testing.
- Address end user issues and participate in on-call duty and after-hours support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions and document processes for the Engineering and Administration team.
- Partner with the Security team to manage security-related applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant IT experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Experience with managing technology and infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with computer software, network systems, and keyboarding skills.

COMPENSATION: Employees are entitled to salary commensurate with skill and experience. Expected salary ranges include:

- Colorado: $75,000 - $134,000
- Illinois: $74,000 - $143,000
- Maryland: $79,000 - $120,000
- Massachusetts: $82,000 - $156,000
- Minnesota: $82,000 - $135,000
- Jersey City, NJ: $89,000 - $161,000
- New York: $76,000 - $164,000
- Vermont: $81,000 - $155,000
- Washington: $79,000 - $150,000
- Washington, D.C.: $106,000 - $155,000
