Full-Time Pharmacy Technician (Mon-Fri)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack medication doses prior to a pharmacist's review and dispensing.
• Monitor drug inventory levels to ensure a continuous supply of medications without stockpiling supplies.
• Enter information into and retrieve information from a database or patient profile.
• Troubleshoot problems and perform minor maintenance on pharmacy equipment, printers, computers, and telecommunication equipment with adequate training.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Certified pharmacy technician through either Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Exam for Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).
• Registration with the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a "Certified Pharmacy Technician".
• High School Degree (College preferred).
• Possess good interpersonal skills along with excellent verbal and written communication and problem solving skills.
• Able to read and write printed material in English.
• Proficiency with computer keyboard operations.
• Ability to compute simple algebraic ratios, volume/volume percentage, and weight/volume percentage.
• Able to work well with other healthcare workers and perform as a team member.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
