Product Development Engineer
Location: Anaheim, CA | Hybrid
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of innovative products, with a strong emphasis on thermal management solutions for data centers and space systems. This position will play a vital role in driving product development from concept through to production, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative product solutions with a focus on thermal management.
- Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate product performance.
- Utilize SolidWorks for detailed 3D modeling and design documentation.
- Perform thermal analysis to ensure product meets operational requirements in data center and space systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality assurance, to ensure product success.
- Participate in product testing and validation processes, analyzing results to drive improvements.
- Develop technical documentation and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product development engineering, preferably in thermal management applications.
- Proficient in CFD and FEA software tools.
- Strong experience with SolidWorks and thermal analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with data center operations, terrestrial thermal management systems and/or space systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
