Position Overview
We are a fast-growing music marketing agency working with major record labels and chart-topping artists. Our team develops cutting-edge marketing campaigns that connect artists with listeners across digital platforms.
We are looking for a Data Scientist with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, technology, and analytics. You will use your expertise in data science to drive predictive modeling, build innovative solutions, and help us adopt new technologies that shape how artists connect with audiences. This is a generalist role where you will work on building predictive models and running experiments, analyzing marketing performance, and supporting the deployment of new technologies in our campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, validate, and deploy predictive models that drive marketing performance and audience insights
- Analyze campaign and platform data to uncover opportunities for optimization
- Apply advanced statistical techniques, including ARIMA time series forecasting and Bayesian methods, to solve business problems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and creative teams to translate data into action
- Explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to stay at the forefront of data-driven marketing
- Work with large datasets using modern data science languages and tools
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied machine learning
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL with familiarity in Spark, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and dbt
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong foundation in statistics, predictive modeling, ARIMA time series, and Bayesian methods
- Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and deploying models in production environments
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-style environment where speed and adaptability matter
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas simply and persuasively
