Job Description

Position Overview

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC or BE Physician to join our primary care team in Highland, IL. Attached to St. Joseph's Hospital, this bustling outpatient and walk-in clinic offers a fantastic experience for patients with quick access to additional services. The practice operates Monday through Friday—with an option of a 4 or 5 day work week—and features minimal, phone call–only on-call responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Join a well-established, growing practice with great community support.
  • Deliver high-quality outpatient primary care services in a busy clinic setting.
  • Operate on a Monday-Friday schedule with an option of a 4 or 5 day work week.
  • Manage minimal call responsibilities via phone only—no holidays or weekends.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR while benefiting from a strong support staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have an unrestricted Illinois license prior to start.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • Clinical doctorate is required.
  • Proven competence in delivering healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must have completed or be in the process of completing an accredited residency program.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license and Federal DEA when applicable.
