Position Overview
HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC or BE Physician to join our primary care team in Highland, IL. Attached to St. Joseph's Hospital, this bustling outpatient and walk-in clinic offers a fantastic experience for patients with quick access to additional services. The practice operates Monday through Friday—with an option of a 4 or 5 day work week—and features minimal, phone call–only on-call responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Join a well-established, growing practice with great community support.
- Deliver high-quality outpatient primary care services in a busy clinic setting.
- Operate on a Monday-Friday schedule with an option of a 4 or 5 day work week.
- Manage minimal call responsibilities via phone only—no holidays or weekends.
- Utilize EPIC EMR while benefiting from a strong support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an unrestricted Illinois license prior to start.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Clinical doctorate is required.
- Proven competence in delivering healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must have completed or be in the process of completing an accredited residency program.
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license and Federal DEA when applicable.
