As a Business Technology Leader in a Client Engineering squad, you will partner with technical leaders and specialists to drive experiential client engagements and lead the team in executing compelling business cases. Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Business Case Development – Understand, capture, calculate, and communicate both qualitative and quantitative business value of IBM’s technology to various levels of leadership.
- Team Leadership – Lead and coach diverse, high-performing technical pre-sales teams with a range of digital and project delivery skills.
- Culture Development – Cultivate an agile, pragmatic culture that emphasizes continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Engagement Management – Oversee engagement close-out processes ensuring smooth hand-offs.
- Industry Knowledge Sharing – Stay current with business, industry, and technology trends, applying contemporary thought leadership to client solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Confidence to contact and engage potential new customers and deliver an elevated experience.
- Experience developing technical value propositions, business cases, and impactful client proposals.
- Motivation to achieve sales, business objectives, and high client satisfaction.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills paired with an agile process mindset.
- Knowledge in strategic and financial analysis and the ability to embrace a growth mindset.
- Education: MBA with a B.S. in STEM or equivalent technical experience.
- Requirements: Prior Business or Information Technology Consulting work experience (2-3 years).
- Conversant about AI technology and current industry trends to address business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams and adapt communication styles as needed.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills that are engaging and influential.
- Self-motivated and capable of independently leading client projects.
- Location: IBM offices in Atlanta GA, Austin TX, Chicago IL, Dallas TX, New York NY, Raleigh NC, San Francisco CA, and Washington DC.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% annually.
- Must have the ability to work without current or future visa sponsorship.

- Experience with agile product management of technology products.
