We’re looking for an Entry-Level Engineer (Engineer Intern) with a passion for water resources to join our watershed and stormwater modeling team. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fundamental design and modeling tasks to support stormwater, watershed, and water quality projects.
  • Assist with permit applications, CAD drafting, and GIS analysis to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze engineering and scientific data, identifying discrepancies and recommending solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports, studies, and memoranda under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Engage in continuing professional development to expand your technical knowledge and skills.
  • Support quality control efforts, ensuring that designs and deliverables meet company and industry standards.
  • Communicate project progress and challenges to supervisors and meet deadlines for assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Registration: Engineer Intern (EI)
  • Experience: No prior experience required; 1-year student internship or a master’s degree preferred
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Esri ArcGIS, stormwater modeling software, or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
  • Other: Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR
