Position Overview

We are seeking a Software Developer to support our Graphics team in Akron, OH, the hub for our Printed Retail Graphics & Décor, Digital Solutions, and Adapt Program Implementation businesses.NO VISA SPONSORSHIP. Key Responsibilities

• Design – Collaborate with subject matter experts, team members, and management to define product details.
• Development – Write code and related materials to build software products, adhering to best practices and staying updated on technical developments while ensuring timely delivery.
• Testing – Produce high-quality software with minimal defects by testing own code and coordinating with the quality assurance team.
• Deployment – Build, deploy, and create installation packages for software products.
• Maintenance – Provide support for deployed software by fixing defects and adapting to changes in the computing environment.
• Other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, including promises and asynchronous programming.
• Proficiency in web development with HTML/CSS.
• Experience with Node.js development.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university and 2-4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Svelte/Svelte Kit.
• Knowledge of MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Bun.
• Experience with Feathers.js.
• Background in Electron or NW.js.
• Understanding of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Development experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
