Job Description

Position Overview

MeridianLink’sAPI Support Specialistassists our clients in API-related projects for our MeridianLink Consumer and MeridianLink Opening platforms. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in XML and JSON-based web services along with strong customer service skills to support both external clients and internal stakeholders. It serves as an escalation point for the Customer Support team regarding API-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and master MeridianLink’s API web services for loan origination and account opening.
  • Assist clients in integrating with our application program interfaces (APIs).
  • Resolve and triage tickets escalated from Customer Support teams.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Discuss API features, functionality, and integration details with clients and internal teams.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve API issues or inquiries through research and testing.

Required Qualifications

  • Loan origination system or banking experiencepreferred.
  • Customer service/support experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of or experience with web services, specifically XML and JSON based APIs.
  • Experience with Postman or similar API platforms.
  • Effective interpersonal skills (both written and oral) with the ability to communicate effectively.
