Job Description
Position Overview
Join Amazon's dynamic environment as a Senior Supply Chain Manager with a strong planning background. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of operations, focusing on Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for Distribution Centers supplying our SSD Fulfillment centers, and optimizing the flow of goods, information, and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance to drive strategic initiatives, process improvements, and automation in our network capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives related to network capacity across various business units.
- Optimize and manage the flow of goods, information, and services throughout the supply chain network.
- Balance supply and demand while improving the efficiency of distribution networks, warehouses, and logistics operations.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency.
- Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and simplify processes for complex network capacity scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve shared network capacity goals.
- Manage cross-functional network capacity initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to lean principles.
- Own a portfolio of programs driving performance improvement and project delivery efficiency.
- Identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities focusing on inventory management, logistics strategy, and transportation optimization.
- Monitor and optimize key network capacity metrics to maintain a smooth flow of goods and services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of working cross-functionally with both tech and non-tech teams
- 5+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience defining program requirements and leveraging data to drive improvements
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- 5+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- 5+ years of driving process improvements
- Experience in building processes, project management, and scheduling
- Experience in stakeholder management at various organizational levels

- Compensation: The base pay ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market to $181,400/year in our highest market. Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and other performance-based incentives.
