This is a full-time, on-site role in Kansas City, MO for an Engineer in Training/entry-level Structural Engineer. The role involves assisting in the design and analysis of various structural projects, including the preparation of calculations, drawings, and technical reports. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with project managers, reviewing project specifications, maintaining compliance with codes and standards, conducting field observations, and providing solutions to construction challenges. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to innovative architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of structural projects.
- Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in structural analysis and knowledge of applicable building codes and standards.
- Experience with engineering software and computer-aided design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; EIT certification or eligibility is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site and manage multiple tasks within project deadlines.
