In this role, you will define and build the product marketing discipline from the ground up, ensuring clear messaging and effective enablement across the organization. You will bridge the gap between market insights and product strategy, shaping the GTM playbook and driving execution in a fast-moving regulatory environment. This position can be based in our HQ in Portland, OR, or remote from anywhere in the U.S.
Compensation: $125,000 - $135,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with cross-functional leaders to stay ahead of shifting priorities and ensure organizational readiness for launches, GTM motions, and product briefings.
- Gather and synthesize customer, prospect, competitive, regulatory, and usage insights to drive product and GTM strategy.
- Ensure GTM teams have the right assets and guidance for every stage of the buyer journey by proactively identifying gaps and equipping teams with practical tools.
- Develop core PMM and enablement deliverables such as one-pagers, pitch decks, demo talk tracks, battlecards, ROI/value models, product pages, and case studies.
- Monitor content effectiveness and sales performance metrics to refine training programs and enablement materials.
- Lead Sales and Customer Experience training on product value, positioning, and competitive differentiation.
- Drive GTM readiness and execution for launches, ensuring cross-functional clarity and complete enablement deliverables.
- Maintain competitive intelligence and translate new regulations into clear, actionable GTM messaging.
- Collaborate with Product to ensure that roadmap decisions reflect customer needs, competitive threats, and revenue opportunities.
- Take personal ownership of both strategy and execution in a startup environment with minimal existing structure.

- Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into clear, seller-ready, and customer-centric messaging.
- Demonstrated success as a one-person or early-stage PMM, building structures, processes, and assets from scratch.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience influencing roadmap clarity and executing GTM strategies.
- Exceptional storytelling skills and a proven ability to create high-quality deliverables (e.g., pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards).
- Experience in developing and delivering sales enablement programs and trainings.
- A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to interpret market dynamics and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with a pro-AI mindset and hands-on experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity.
