The Student Assistant Marketing Officer (AMO) is a 6–month student ambassador and leadership role designed to provide hands–on experience in marketing, event planning, and retail. Blending 5–10 hours per week of university networking projects with 25–30 hours per week in–store experience, AMOs help grow the Rally House brand on campus, build meaningful connections, and develop practical skills in merchandising, leadership, and customer engagement. Successful candidates may be eligible for the 6–month Student Assistant Operating Officer (AOO) program or other leadership opportunities such as Store Manager or district–level roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement campus marketing strategies to boost Rally House’s visibility.
- Build and maintain connections with student organizations, faculty, and campus partners.
- Organize and support events such as Sorority & Fraternity Night, recruitment marketing, and pop–up activations.
- Collaborate with the corporate marketing team on campus projects and initiatives.
- Learn Rally House merchandising standards and assist in training team members for consistent product displays.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience by upholding Rally House’s Welcome and Party House standards.
- Lead store shifts by guiding team members and fostering a friendly, energetic atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Must be academically eligible per university requirements (junior or senior undergraduate preferred).
- Prior Rally House experience is preferred.
- Availability to work days, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, talk, and lift up to 50 pounds; must routinely stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and reach.
- Willingness to undertake local travel across campus and community for events.
