Inventory Specialist

Position Overview

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers, ensuring precision in the daily operations at our warehouse and distribution centres. You will join our team as a Cycle Counter at our West Jefferson, Ohio site, where you will perform weekly cycle counts, adjust systems, and maintain accurate records.

Work 2nd Shift Monday through Friday and earn a competitive rate of $22.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records and management procedures.
• Reconcile inventory and coordinate related procedures.
• Collaborate with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving inventory oversight.
• Implement recovery programs to account for and handle defective products properly.
• Oversee inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reporting.
• Conduct system searches to locate products effectively.
• Develop an audit program for returns and ensure product relocation is handled accurately.
• Process documentation to facilitate prompt credit transactions.
• Prepare comprehensive reports to support accurate inventory counts.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of recent experience in cycle counting and inventory control.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office environments.
