Job Description

Position Overview

Build your clean energy career on one of the largest electric vehicle teams in the country! As the Clean Energy Strategy Manager for Electric Mobility (E-Mobility), you will plan, develop, execute, track, and monitor strategies for our programs and services to help Con Edison and New York State achieve their clean transport and Electric Vehicle (EV) goals. You will work at the heart of Con Edison’s multibillion-dollar clean energy transition, contributing directly to the advancement of EV charging infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, execution, tracking, and monitoring of the E-Mobility strategy to support Con Edison and New York State clean transport goals.
  • Partner with department staff and leadership to align and implement strategic initiatives and multi-year portfolio goals.
  • Represent the E-Mobility team to external stakeholders including the New York State Department of Public Service and others.
  • Manage a team to analyze existing programs for improvement opportunities, monitor market conditions, and recommend program design changes.
  • Oversee daily strategy integration, assess progress against targets, and report on departmental performance.
  • Collaborate with various program teams to adjust strategies in response to budget, regulatory, and market changes.
  • Develop forecasting models and scenario analyses with limited or incomplete data, leveraging cross-functional collaboration and industry research.
  • Foster a proactive, customer-centric culture to build trust with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of work experience, including 2 years in energy, electric vehicles, the utility industry, or a related field.
  • Track record of delivering results and high performance.
  • Proven ability to analyze and synthesize data into actionable business insights, and to communicate these effectively both in presentations and written deliverables.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with ambiguity, and adept at solving complex strategic and tactical problems.
  • Fast learner with a high degree of curiosity, strong motivation, and a bias for action paired with a strong sense of ownership.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Driver's License Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, energy-related discipline, or economics with 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in utility EV programs, including strategy development, program design, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Experience leading complex projects and managing direct reports.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with New York State energy policy and the regulatory environment.
  • Enthusiasm for using AI tools in your workflow.
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills with an ability to perform under pressure.
  • Experience with Power BI, Salesforce, ArcGIS, or other data visualization tools.
  • Technical or public policy writing skills and a drive to continually refine and improve processes.
