Job Description

Position Overview

The Field Technician is a field based technical role working on low voltage systems—including new system installations, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and system programming—for customers in the healthcare, higher education, corporate, and professional sports verticals. This role blends remote and onsite work and may require after-hours, on-call availability with occasional travel.

Compensation: Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour | Full-time | Expected Hours: 40–50 per week.

Additional Information:

Travel: Local and some interstate travel required; Work Vehicle: Company vehicle provided for work use only; Computer: Company computer provided; Work Location: On the road.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support low voltage technology systems including programming support for core functions and system modifications for enhanced performance.
  • Provide technical assistance for customers during new installs, service calls, maintenance, and integration of security systems.
  • Test new security technology system installations prior to final acceptance.
  • Handle access control panel and system pre-build out, staging, and testing.
  • Perform access control wiring and hardware installations, including device hard lock sets and electric strike cut-ins.
  • Execute onsite security panel wiring and installation.
  • Provide training to employees regarding security systems as needed.
