Job Description

Position Overview

The Entry‑Level Sales Apprenticeship (Leadership Track) is designed for early‑career individuals seeking a long‑term sales career rather than a temporary gig. This challenging role, which begins with an intensive Summer 2026 ramp (6 days/week, in‑person, door‑to‑door), is ideal for those coming from retail, fast food, serving, warehouse/blue‑collar work, or customer service backgrounds – or for those who have skipped or left college – and are eager for real career experience. Expect long hours outdoors, rigorous training, and the need to overcome frequent rejections. The role also offers a structured career progression from New Rep to Senior Rep and ultimately to Team Lead, with opportunities for leadership and team management as you grow in the position. For application, please click “Apply” and provide details about your current or most recent job, your motivation for a long‑term sales career, and how you plan to meet sales quotas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go door‑to‑door in assigned neighborhoods introducing homeowners to our pest control services
  • Use a proven script to present, handle objections, and close new customers
  • Work 6 days per week during the summer ramp, typically 8‑10 hours per day, mostly on your feet and outdoors
  • Attend daily morning training sessions and role‑plays with your team lead
  • After the ramp, manage your own territory as an ongoing representative, meeting weekly and monthly sales quotas set by your manager
  • Track your activity and results – including the number of doors knocked, conversations held, closes, revenue generated, and commissions earned

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old by May 1 and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Available full‑time for the Summer 2026 ramp (approximately May–August, 6 days/week)
  • Willing to relocate and live in shared housing with teammates during the ramp period
  • Comfortable with a commission‑only pay structure, meeting weekly/monthly sales quotas, and working long days outdoors
  • Committed to pursuing a long‑term career in sales beyond just the summer period
  • Reliable, coachable, and capable of persevering through a challenging, high-rejection environment
