Post-Closing Specialist

The Post-Closing Specialist is responsible for the review of closed loan packages for shipping to investors, in accordance with investor guidelines.

Summary of Essential Job Duties

• Track files daily in the fulfillment calendar to retrieve the executed closing packages from the settlement agent to ensure delivery to investor is prior to lock expiration date
• Review executed closing packages for discrepancies and errors
• Stack shipping file and deliver to investor within 24 hours following funding
• Obtain purchase conditions to clear in less than 7 calendar days
• Track loan daily until all purchase conditions are cleared and Purchase Advice is issued
• Obtain trailing documents to ship to investor by 60 days from funding
• Register and transfer the MERS identification number
• Add pertinent data to internal file tracking system

Additional Requirements

• Complete various cross-training assignments in the Fulfillment Department upon request, and assist other areas in the Fulfillment Department as needed
• Must be open to working overtime within reasonable expectations, including, without limitation, arriving early, working through lunch, or working later than scheduled
• Must be able to prioritize assignments and schedule workload to meet timeline requirements and maintain a variety of transactions
• Reasonably prompt access to a reliable internet connection away from the office
