Position Overview
As a key member of Target Global Supply Chain and Logistics, the Engineering & Facilities Senior Facility Engineer is responsible for ensuring high equipment availability and optimal asset management at our facilities. Compensation: $71,000.00 - $128,000.00.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a reliability-centered maintenance culture by developing data-driven processes and eliminating root causes of equipment failures.
- Oversee non-material handling support systems, including maintenance of the Powered Industrial Truck fleet (100-200 vehicles) and coordination of vendor-supported Over the Road trailer fleet (200-300 trailers).
- Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) to ensure accurate scheduling, data integrity, and consistent availability of MRO spare parts.
- Collaborate with corporate asset management teams to plan and execute Capital Expenditure projects that extend equipment life and optimize asset performance.
- Lead safety investigations, manage external contractors, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and safe work practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, and influence team members in a dynamic environment.
- Strong multi-tasking skills with experience in multi-contractor management.
- Proficiency with Continuous Improvement processes, Enterprise Asset Management tools, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.
- Excellent competency with PCs and mobile applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Certified Reliability Engineer.
